There wasn't anything in particular that we wanted to do . . . we just didn't want to waste the nice weather. So I made a list of free things in the area that would get us outside, cut them into small strips, and then let Callum choose one. Our fate was in his hands . . . and he chose pretty well.
We ended up going for a nice, long walk along the Rappahannock River Heritage Trail (one of my favorite paved trails in the area) and discovered a great spot to climb rocks and watch the river.
And I can't forget about this awesome tree for climbing . . .
Our last stop was Carl's for an "i-ceam-cone" (yeah, that's toddler speak). Both of my boys love chocolate, and this was Callum's first time eating the whole thing. He tore that sugar cone up, y'all!
Happy Monday . . . and a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mom!!! We're both 30 now : )
